Board of Directors
“Support means we will walk with each other.
We will not try to change you or how you feel.
Anger, depression and other feelings are real.
We will simply be here beside you.”
Sharlene Bosma
Director
Sharlene Bosma founded Tim’s Tribute after her husband Tim was murdered on May 6, 2013. Sharlene, realizing the need for support for victim’s families, was compelled to set up this organization with support from her family and friends. Prior to May 2013, Sharlene was a regular mom and wife, working full time in an administrative position. Together, Tim and Sharlene were building their future and creating their own history of stories to tell their children. Now, Sharlene is working to help other survivors like herself, and bring a voice to victims, all in memory of Tim.

On January 16, 2014, Kim tragically lost her Mom, Judy Fraser, when she was murdered by her estranged husband (Kim’s father). Judy Fraser suffered for 47 years in an abusive marriage. She had the courage to end her silence when she left to escape his abuse just a few weeks prior to her death. Dealing with a loss due to homicide is already extremely painful but it is also difficult to heal from as you relive the tragedy over and over when dealing with the criminal justice system. Kim found comfort in 2018 when she joined the ”Healing Tree” where she shared and bonded with others that understood this type of grief. Kim has been married for 25 years and is the proud mom of 2 children. She has worked in an administrative position for the Federal Government for the past 22 years. Kim has found that the only way to move forward in her grief it to continue to try and make her Mom proud by speaking out and sharing her story to in hopes of helping others. It is an honour to now be a part of Tim’s Tribute to help others by providing assistance to other families of innocent victims of homicide.Justine Eggink
